Every year in January/February, Sherwood Oaks allows up to 10 select students to join us at a celebrity event where students can meet the top directors and actors of nominated films. Sherwood Oaks’ We performs brief interviews with these celebrities so students can a rare glimpse and unprecedented access behind the scenes. Although we cannot guarantee which celebrity will be interviewed, the guest list includes Quentin Tarantino, George Clooney, Steven Spielberg, Clint Eastwood, James Cameron, Brad Pitt, Kathryn Bigelow, Harrison Ford, Jeremy Renner, James Caan, Helen Mirren, Joel Coen, and dozens more. Bryan Cranston, star of Breaking Bad, has been kind of enough to talk to our students in previous years. In 2015, students met Clint Eastwood among other guests.

You MUST be registered for the August class to attend the dinner. It is a bundle and if you cannot attend the class and just want to go to the dinner, it is the same price.
Due to overwhelming demand, this event is not sold separately and you are required to REGISTER for the corresponding class to attend this event unless you decide to donate to the school.
This event entails a lot of patience, politeness, and flexibility.
*** Please bring CASH for parking on day of the event.
All celebrity events are FORMAL ATTIRE (“BLACK TIE”)!
The Emmys went great (even though Gary Shusett did not attend) where students met the cast of Breaking Bad among other celebrities. They also got photo opportunities with these celebs as well as photos with Emmys in the background. Join us for our special celebrity events.

Quote from Lucinda in Emmy’s Celebrity Event (Gary Shusett did not attend)
It was an amazing experience to be part of the “Emmys of 2013″ this year and walk the red carpet! I would nominate Christine Owens of Sherwood Oaks for “outstanding hostess” of the year. She was extremely professional with the intense excitement everyone was feeling, keeping in perfect timing from when to arrive in the limo for the experience to walk the red carpet with the most elite actors/actresses to after hours enjoying the handshakes that came our way. We are most grateful to Christine for showing us the time of our lives at this most sought out event in Television. What a wonderful way to spend the day with such an experienced hostess that made it relaxing and exciting all at the same time! The moments we captured on camera are rare and forever proud!
Thank you Christine for giving us this beautiful moment to cherish!
