Most writers would be fortunate enough just to get even one agent on the phone to talk about anything, due to the foreboding wall of gatekeepers, but with Sherwood Oaks, students get an opportunity to meet numerous agents and manager. This is an event that is very special and is not available anywhere else. The goal of this class is to obliterate that wall and provide extraordinary access to as many agents, managers, and attorneys as possible in a very short number of days.

And of course since all writers will get an opportunity to talk to each and every guest and give them material, there is always the possibility of gaining representation through a connection made during the sessions although it usually takes years and several classes before a connection is made. What we can guarantee is that this class will be of great assistance in eventually finding representation.

Several students get representation by attending this course and many get writing assignments – could you be next?

Sherwood Oaks is a unique school that allows students to give agents, managers and attorneys material. Most schools, seminars, expos will abhor any of their students from giving any material to a professional guest since they are afraid of driving away guests and not having them come back.    Sherwood Oaks encourages students to give one sheets to guests. See our Resource page to find out specific examples.

As in most classes, there will be 6 invited guests per day with a guarantee of an average of 4 guests per day. We usually exceed this goal and get an average of 4 to 6 guests per day.

Background Success

For example, Brian Sher who originally worked for ICM represents the writer for Hitch and many more million-dollar+ spec scripts writers. Also, Bettina Viviano, David Warden, Art&Letters Entertainment and many others now represent our former students.

Many students gain representation from this class or had their scripts optioned.

We average 10 agents and managers per class with the best student to working Hollywood professional ratio for the price in the industry with an excellent track record of our students getting paid writing assignments and succeeding in the film business.

Move ahead of the pack and Get Representation!

Members of the Sherwood Oaks mailing list may obtain lower pricing, be sure to get on our mailing list with exclusive writing articles.
