Her experience with sitcoms led her to start her own company and share her skills in both writing and pitching a pilot with upcoming writers. Colin Garland, writer, who is represented by Sheree Guitar. Colin started in the Warner Bros writing program then got a writing job at Two and Half Men and then Instant Mom. He is currently working on an animation comedy. Colin spoke last year at Sherwood Oaks and was a seminar favorite. Colin says it is because he has no filter. We are excited to have him back.

Marilyn R. Atlas is a Talent/Literary Manager and Producer. Among her credits as film producer are “Real Women Have Curves” for HBO, which won the Audience Award at the Sundance Film Festival, “A Certain Desire,” starring Sam Waterston, and “Echoes,” which won the Gold Award at the Texas International Film Festival. She also produced a movie at Lifetime, based on a YA book, airing in summer 2014, titled “The Choking Game.” Atlas is also the co-author of a relationship-based, screenwriting guide called “Dating Your Character,” about an organic approach to character creation.
